Plymouth and Scotland Area Rifle Association Membership to the Plymouth and Scotland Area Rifle Association is open to all serving members of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines borne on the books of HM Ships and establishments within South-west England and Scotland. Reserve personnel and members of other Services on exchange duty may take part in the area Combat Shooting Competition (CSC), and are eligible for selection to represent Plymouth and Scotland at the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Combat Shooting Competition held annually at Bisley. However, only regular Royal Navy and Royal Marines personnel and Reserve personnel engaged on Full-time Reserve Service (FTRS) commitments can compete for the award of HM The Queen's Medal. The 2008 area Combat Shooting Competition took place 19 - 21 May at Trevol ranges, Plymouth.
