ROYAL NAVY AND ROYAL MARINES
RIFLE ASSOCIATION

Clay Target Shooting:

The Royal Navy Clay Pigeon Shooting Association (RNCPSA) is the governing body for Clay Target Shooting competition within the Royal Navy. Membership is open to both serving and retired members of the Royal Navy and costs £5 per annum. To apply for membership, send an email via the RNRMRA Webmaster who will forward it to the RNCPSA Secretary.

We compete in the Armed Forces and Emergency Service Clay Target Series, which is designed to provide the opportunity for members of the participating Services Associations to meet socially and shoot in 66 non registered clay target shooting competitions for individual, Service and Team prizes.

Each Service is responsible for organising and running one event in the Series calendar. The competition has a minimum of 100 targets and comprises any discipline or combination of disciplines. Teams currently participating in the Series include the Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Air Force, Police Service, Fire Service and the Prison Service. See the Fixtures page for details of venues. On average each Inter Service Shoot costs approximately £30 per head. Serving members of the Royal Navy receive a subsidy from the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Rifles Association and are entitled to claim Travelling Expenses for Inter Service competition.
